Would love to catch Chris live; hopefully he'll be at WMC. It was really cool to hear Digweed throw in a remix of his this past weekend.

#315408Post 4 of 34

Damn that would have been cool to check out. Sucks about having to hang w/ mom after the seeing such a great dj. Also love the quote.

I haven't had the pleasure as of yet, but I've heard nothing but good things, I'll be on the look-out for mr. micali

#315412Post 6 of 34

#315709Post 19 of 34

He's an incredibly nice guy. Hopefully the next time I go to NYC I can see him play or at least meet him. One hell of a producer of tracks.

^^^^Yo Dreamgirl! What's this I hear about you in a park in Brookline @ 4 in the morning? Did you have fun? It was great seeing Micali. I have lots of his stuff, but never seen him live. Unfortunately I had hit the wall, and had gotten a bit ill, so I bailed and left dreamgirl all by herself at the bar

#315877Post 22 of 34
so I bailed and left dreamgirl all by herself at the bar
You deserve to have your head checked for that one. You left that hot piece of ass at the bar by herself? C'mon man, think.

#315905Post 23 of 34

kick his ass, C-Bass! Nobody fucks with the dreamgirlie and lives!

You and Localizer should form a support group.

#316160Post 30 of 34

Yes, I met Micali through a mutual friend during WMC 2004 and he is a solid guy. Very nice.

JAJA!

He's mastered "emo" progressive. Good producer, would love to see him regardless of my views but I don't cream all over every track he produces. Pipe though, I love fucking Pipe....so different, and that's what I like, versatility in a producer which I think he should start doing as he somewhat "experimented" by creating a techno based track, ie: Pipe. If he can change it up, then I can give him more praise. Until then, those same elements he uses in almost all prog tracks with subtle changes just aren't totally cutting it for me.

#316693Post 34 of 34

My mistake. I actually have his address in my room. DUH! Yeah he lives in Boston but from what I hear, he spends a lot of time in NYC.
