Anyone off to Thailand soon and looking for somewhere nice to base themselves?

Have a look at this if you are, it belongs to a friend of mine and he's decided to let the place rather than live there. Pretty cool pad eh? Thanks for looking

Re: Anyone off to Thailand soon??

Not a bad price during the peak season on that island, such a great area, that is the kind of set up I want to retire in, wonderful location.

Re: Anyone off to Thailand soon??

with a convertion of 1 Thai baht to 0.0186457354 British pounds, the peak season 6000thai bahts are only 110 pounds.. now if you imagine that im paying 85pounds for a small flat in Leeds, 110pounds for a massive house next to the sea, looks like a great bargain!! i just wish i could go...

Funny you say that Florida, a party house is exactly what it's been since he built it. He had an offer from a "film crew" to use the place as well but to the best of my knowledge, declined it.

Re: Anyone off to Thailand soon??

There's 2 double rooms there so if 4 of you go that's a price that compares to something like a travel inn at the side of the motorway in the uk which sort of puts it in perspective i think.
