Hi all, my mate is off to the WMC in March and he wants some advice on hotels, wrist bands, getting into clubs so if any of you guys could send links or give some advice for me to past on that would be most welcome

Does he want to be in the middle of everything, where nobody sleeps much, or does he want to party night and day and have a quiet hotel to go back to?

How much partying does he want/intend to do?

Stay away from juicy beach even if it has good D J's. The National hotel is one of my favorite spots to go.

One last thing don't pick up tickets. Pay the extra fee to have them delivered or you might be searching all day trying to find the temporary spot to find them.

If I have enough money I will go to the WMC 2011 party´s as well. Nick Warren + Sasha on a boat and Sasha & Digweed @ Mansion is a try before you die that I can't miss :D. The mass party's with famous "mtv" dj's isn't something for me, and I don't like that kind of crowd at all.

Does somebody knows what a week WMC including flight from Europe costs (is it like Ibiza +- 2500,-) ?

Any hotel within a 1 mile - 2 mile radius of the Shelbourne Hotel which is kind of the heart of the action is going to house most of the rowdier wmc partiers, these hotels are also going to be pricier because you can walk to a lot of the parties.

That being said, will he be renting a car or taxi'ing? How many in his group?

Where's he traveling from out of curiosity? Has he ever been to South Beach before?
