I still always enjoy seeing Sasha... & Watching Cars go By  - Ggggrrr88 one for sure!

for the most part- nuttin but love for most the nominees... Except F$^# Britney Spears... shit- I can sing her songs... I could be rich & famous too- if they'd just let me sing ... "Just ignore the man behind the curtain" :Naughty:

Re: Sasha nominated for a Grammy

In my honest opinion I think the other songs have a better chance then winning then "Cars Go by" it is a good song... but i don't think it compares to most of those songs listed... (besides PVD's and Britney's songs, of course).

#314456Post 8 of 38

good luck 2 him ,

:D

#314457Post 9 of 38

Who cares about the Grammys ( < A f*cking publicity stunt!) anyway?

#314464Post 10 of 38

Sasha is the first Dj for me!!!I love his music!!! Thanks the many info!!! :!:

#314509Post 11 of 38

not a grammy worthy track imo. but i haven't heard it on a huge club system yet either.

#314511Post 12 of 38

I thought that track let the whole of Involver down,

Where is Tiesto's nomination?

#314525Post 14 of 38

Can someone tell me why is this shitty "Creamfields" CD by Oakenfold nominated ?

#314533Post 15 of 38
I thought that track let the whole of Involver down
For me it was the climax of a perfectly formed soundscape :)

Horses for courses :Bingo:

#314546Post 16 of 38

Good luck Sasha,

Re: Sasha nominated for a Grammy

that nice for him he did good job

#314577Post 18 of 38

the nominees for dance-related depts makes it pretty obvious how shallow the depth of knowledge the grammy ppl have regarding this genre. basement jaxx, paul fuckenold, crystal method... all artists that the "mainstream" america knows... sadly, that's ALL they know...

#314673Post 19 of 38

Re: Sasha nominated for a Grammy

Would sasha be the first UK artist to win the remix award?

#314680Post 20 of 38

Re: Sasha nominated for a Grammy

Personally I don't think it's his best remix, but I realise it's probably his most commercial and accessible remix for a while, so of all the tracks on Involver was the only one that was going to be nominated.

Fair play to him though :D

#314832Post 21 of 38

If it wasn't a felix da housecat track and his usual electro pop, the track never would've been nominated...

#314839Post 22 of 38

Re: Sasha nominated for a Grammy

good song..

#314844Post 23 of 38

What? No Baby Anne? This is a travesty of the nth degree.

i would have said it was his most underground......... :?

True. It's one of the most commercial tracks on Involver. Besides, felix da houscat is a name some of the grammy guys might know, not like lostep for example - even though it's far better a remix than WTCGB. Personally Pokinoi wins for me anyway. I've just heard soltimbanco by cirque de soleil and it made me  How on earth did he get the idea for the remix?!!! It's a totally different type of music. Genius simply. :NotMe: The effect might be a bit cheesy but it's got sooo much energy it could move walls. On the dancefloor, that is. If there were any.

^^^Couldn't disagree more

#314930Post 27 of 38
^^^Couldn't disagree more
Just out of curiosity chem, what has Sasha done that you didn't think was a gift from the gods? There's got to be something....

#314932Post 28 of 38

^^^^Airdrawndagger was shit imo

#314934Post 29 of 38
^^^^Airdrawndagger was shit imo
Fair enough.
^^^^Airdrawndagger was shit imo
That only prooves he is diverse... something for everybody. I LOVE add.

#314939Post 31 of 38

^^^it was more of a Junkie XL allbum than a Sasha album, i didn't hear Sasha in it at all apart from Wavy Gravy

#314940Post 32 of 38

hmmm... does it make it bad automaticaly? when I heard it first I didn't enquire into who made it really. I like it as a whole.

#315539Post 33 of 38

ADD was weak. Actually, shit. I still don't understand all the hooplah about it. Involver wasn't what I was expecting but I did like the Felix track.

#315627Post 34 of 38

#315646Post 35 of 38
I thought that track let the whole of Involver down,

Do we really need to see Tiesto ever win a Grammy, he's already made a sham of the dj mag top 100. :NotMe:

#315667Post 36 of 38

Watching cars go by is an awesome track, not the best remix on the album but great work nonetheless. Perfect for a loud system. I really hope he gets the Grammy for it.

#315742Post 37 of 38

I would have picked Lostep's Burma as the best remix of that album IMO. Couldn't really give a fuck about the Grammys to be honest. Its just advertising.
