rainman's continual world of shit update:

received a phone call from the hr dept at the aforementioned bad ass job i have been chasing down. not only did they make me an offer, they offered me more then what i was going to ask for, then threw paid insurance and co-matched 401k to boot. i will now be paid to attend trade shows, once a month, as a rep to this company in new york, conneticut, south dakota, idaho, and massachusetts. all expenses paid on all trips along with company credit card and all vehicle rentals paid for.

toward the end of last week, i filed my taxes which covered my unpaid child support (from where i was unemployed) and then some. This gets the states hands out of my pockets again, just in time for me to start this new job.

life is starting to looking up. thanks to all of those who sent positive vibes and best wishes.

what annoys me is to have to continue to work out the rest of my last day on the job while dealing with assholes that think this is my only chance of a job. big surprise coming to them in the morning.
