I would have to agree, Sasha does get some proper nutters at a lot of his gigs.. A similar comparable variety would be the Ozzy type devotees. :shock:

Hahahahaha. I most certainly do, Sightless! Digweed's fans seem to be a lot more level-headed, for whatever reason. I wouldn't class you with Sasha's own 'Ozzy' types, though (that photo might just be working against me, however!) ;) Too bad Jane's Addiction had to break up just before NYE or I'm sure the evening would have transpired drastically differently! And I just stick purely with the thrills and the bellyaches nowadays anyways..

Where will you be this NYE? It looks like I'll be staying right here in good ole London towne, which will be a first..

I wasnt at Sasha but the Tambourine man at Sander k was proper weird.

I heard some people refer to him as Tambourine man .... but that could be another one all together

Looks like some screwed-up guy taking his second youth too seriously...other daddy's get a bike at the age of 50, this guy takes pills and a tambourine and is probably trying to act out his favourite song from the 60's/70's "Hey Mr tambourine man' on house beats. Or something like that.

That is [i]so[/i] weird. Here I am, on the other side of the world in Australia, and I clearly remember (be thankful - it's one of my few clear memories) that when Sasha played here for the Airdrawndagger tour that there was ... you guessed it ... an old codger shaking on his tambo.

Pissed me and others off no end so I feel your pain. :)

I know there's a photo of him from that party; I'll have to compare the photos to see if it's the same guy. From what I recall, it's not the same person but I'll do a bit of digging. :)

This guy is an urban legend. And it will grow in the next few years. You will spot him at Fabric, Space, The End and all the other infamous places out there.

fuckin hilarious. i was at sasha nyc a while back, but no freaks to speak of....but that orange story is a classic. i bet the guy was dead serious too...

Are we talking about the 65 year old marching band uniform tambourine man? He was stalking me at sander in Jan. I accidentally got so excited by the music that my water bottle without the cap on was shaken and splashed him, oops!

He was told several times that the DJ is the one making the music choices, not him. The raver whistler's grandpa I think...

whistles and any other noise making devices at shows are extremely stupid. at sander k this past weekend someone had a whistle, i heard it once. thank god, i think someone shoved it up the blokes arse. or the bouncer took it away. maybe at an out doors show it would be a bit more acceptible.. but in a club.... and tamborines? lol i mean, what makes it worse is these people are rarely even on time with the fucking music.

I remember hearing his live simulcast at the Avalon last NYE. Sasha has changed alot in the past years and I could understand why some would feel this way. But it has been a long time when both S&D played the same type of music.

I WAS AT AVALON THAT NIGHT!! where did you get to hear that set? it was amazing, I was praying that it would appear somewhere.... I will beg borrow and steal to get a listen at that one again. I will beg borrow and steal anyway though, but still... I really want it :)
