My trip to Zen

On Monday I got back from Croatia where I spent 17 days in pure Zen. It’s on an island Pašman, beautiful place where likeminded people meet every year. I spent most of the time meditating, having massages like tuina, lomi lomi, atlas, Bowen, reflexotherapy,... eating bio veggies and goji berries, drinking magnetized water and herbal tea, we did solar gazing which feels like eating the sun energy and for that we woke up at 5am, after that was the first silent meditation, then we did HU exercise which is sort of physical way of mind detox, then it was breakfast, after that a morning swim, following by 3 hours of meditation (whirling, rebirthing,...) then lunch, then one hour of free time and then the afternoon meditation with gongs and tibetan/crystal bowls and shaman drums and after that an art workshop where we learned to draw mandalas and meditated with crystals, after dinner we had salsa, mambo, rumba dances, capoeira, kabbalistic invocations, circle energy dance... awesome! This for me is like an annual reset for my mind and body.

Re: My trip to Zen

Awesome, glad you had a good time, I make it a point to go a o 7 day retreat every year. Meditation is a must for everyone imo. Our bodies minds and spirits need the break and time to rejuvenate, there is so much junk that we fill up on, no time to stop and think.

Re: My trip to Zen

@ Karen: well you are meditating actualy every time your mind is quiet and breathe, being aware of your breath, wheteer it be youre drawing, dancing,... it doesnt mean you have to be in lotus position all the time, although that helps you connet to the source (whatever you may call it) and the point is when you quiet your thoughts your intuition starts guiding you, giving you answers

@ Haziel: this island is in adriatic sea, belongs to Croatia, amazing scenery. That particular mandala is shaped to attract abundance, its a difficult explanation for its from sacred geometry, good stuff :D

@ Dusk: I agree 100% everyone should stop and just breathe every day

@ hambino21: yes sustaining higher vibration in everyday life is what is all about
