really off subject sort of, but I was in O-town not long ago andit was really depressing to not get excited about going to a record store. The only one left that I knew from back in the day was Drop Shop, and it ain't the same since Rich ain't running it. I'm 37 and look like a fucking tourist I'm sure, had my 13 year old son with me trying to show him what made my trips fun....there is more to Otown than theme parks if you will........anyway after talking to the guy that I assumed, and later found out, ran the place, i started talking about past trips and such, before we left he was telling me why he didn't have new stuff and it's hard to carry imports and so forth....I haven't bought vinyl in a long time, but I would have if something was worth buying. Just to support. 3beat went out of business recently and is being reopened soon by the employees as 3brecords. I plan on ordering something at least once a month, I really miss talking to Jo and all the crew @ Massive. They would learn what you played and send a few you didn't know of and they always worked for me. I started doing mail order from Atlanta Satellite b/c of the same service. I know it's too late for the likes of Massive, the Underground, and 3beat, I wish I would of cared earlier but I didn't.

I just Downloaded and it's destroyed the whole unity the record store bought....mind you I don't miss the prices and the "gotta be so and so to get the limited stuff" but I do miss these guys if for anything else someone to talk music to. Digital has changed the face of music for the good and bad I just don't know if the same unity will ever be the same???

I live in neighboring wp...but I dont know of anything besides deep sea fishing, golfing and other various outdoor activities, although there are a few decent bars...zero clubs.
