Re: ahhhhh Digweed show dates in North America this summer/fall...

I wish I had recording equipment because their set was great! It was very typical set from them. Mixed wonderfully and their control of the music is unsurpassed. Music went from a tribal sound into dark then into the deep bass lines. They had some great buildups and breakdowns and I hope that a recording turns up somewhere. I doubt it will, but I'm happy I got to finally see Sasha and Digweed together for the first time in my life.
We got our tix for only 10 bucks, and the only acts we wanted to see were Benny Benassi, Sasha and Digweed. We wanted to avoid as much of the e-diots and douchebags as possible. We arrived in time to see all of Benny Benassi's set. His was a fun hard hitting house/electro set that you would expect. Then Jon Debo came on and he broke the system (he didnt break it, but they had serious technical problems). Lights and visuals went black and the sound stopped playing. Took them almost 20 minutes to get everything back on and Sasha and Digweed got to start playing from a dead silence and pitch darkness until everything came back on about 5-10 minutes into their set. It was a very nice anticipation and they built it up nicely.
Red Rocks was awesome as usual. I only had my Blackberry with me and have some pics that I will post later. I am not into the scene (or substances, just THC) anymore so I sat back pretty far to avoid as many e-tards and candy kids as I could (there was a freakin ton of them!) and don't have great pictures.
I haven't gone out clubbing or raving in a quite a few years, but I am wondering when did it become fashionable for all of the girls to dress like go-go sluts? I haven't seen so many of the same ass-cheeks-falling out outfits in my life. Wow. Alot of them were lingerie outfits. Some were nice to look at, but most were just gross.
There's my review. A nice set from the legends in a beautiful outdoor venue. If you're ever in Colorado and have a chance to see a concert at Red Rocks, definitely check it out. It is an awesome concert venue.
Here is the flyer in case you haven't seen it
