I guess now you can create your own user name on Facebook so people can find you easier.
What did you guys end up getting for usernames? Were you able to get what you wanted?

These things are all well and good, but there are people (especially co-workers) that I have no interest in being in contact with (let alone giving them an insight into my personal life).

^ you can now set user groups and assign them privileges ... I've split my contacts into Work and Friends, etc. So the Work people don't get to see anything. I hope.

Just because someone finds you on facebook, it doesn't mean you have to add them. You can also set your profile so no one can see anything about you without you approving them first....including your profile picture.

if there's a button saying [U]"click here if you wish not to get updated about any of your friend's everyday life info"[/U] i'd stop hating it, this way it really gets annoying, looking on the ppl's statuses about what food they have for breakfast/lunch/dinner, how many cigs, how long their fart lasted or something... wtf! i'm afraid, that if i do smth simillar and my fb's ON on some of the tabs, it will announce it to all of my friends..:lol: how bored ppl must be and how bored that man that made facebook must have been to make all of those options?! :o:
so it's all blocked with me, profile info, search info, images, wall posting.. and its (kinda) okay now, i still get updated if someone farts :lol: and i still lose something that way cuz ppl cant give feedback on my wall so the rest could see it, only in my PM inbox. but i guess its not about facebook but about ppl... just, i dont get it, if its about ppl then why dont they fart on MySpace but it happens only on FB?! ..its still all clean outtathere and i LOVE it 1000x more than bloody facebook. <3
