Without a doubt: Tyrant - Studio Martin, Bucharest, 3-19-2004

Howells' Arc set is awesome, but it's a distant number two to this one, IMO.

If you don't have this Tyrant set, get it!

I don't know what's the true array

maybe...

Christopher Lobsinger - San Fransisco Session @ Proton Radio (September 16,2004)

Subsky - 34BPM @ Proton Radio (September 05,2004)

Way Out West -Featured Artist @ Proton Radio (september 08,2004)=>Bjork vs. u2 - Ultraviolet :Respect:

Dang... always going to be a tough call.

I'd certainly put Diggers' Beirut set up there. Yunus' Siofok set is excellent too, moreso in the first half than the second for my tastes. Little Mike - live at The Church, Denver from the other week is excellent too. I love the Scott Oliver extended promo sets from May and November, which is featuring on [ms] right now as well.

All that said - I'm actually going to peg a 2005 set for my personal "favourite of 2004" though... Robbie Lowe's latest promo (will be a Featured Artist mix in Jan 05) is just spot on for me. Wicked mixing throughout, fantastic tracks and strikes the perfect balance between fun and mature house sounds. Outstanding stuff. :)

One of my Fav is 'John Digweed - Live@Colours, Midnight Mix (Apr-09-2004)'. But like everyone said...the year is not over yet.
the year is not over folks ... it is like saying a cake is good when you didn't even taste it ... :|
So in the odd event that another mindblowing set surfaces in the next, say, 3 weeks we'll include that in our lists. Who knows, maybe Digweed will throw down a massive 8 hour set full of brand new stuff on Christmas Eve and by some luck of the balls of Santa it will be recorded and we will finish listening as the bell tolls midnight on New Year's Eve.

 3. Digweed @ Colours broadcast twice on Kiss in April and Aug

 4. Anthony Pappa Kiss Nov back on form after a weak Balance CD

 5. Nic Fanciulli Kiss Oct

 6. Desyn Masiello Kiss Sept better than the Bedrock compilation this set was perhaps promoting

...one can only hope :D

============== My picks:

Yunus Guvenen live @ eXpander 07-02-04

I dont' know if many of you heard this, it was hosted on that Russian site, many of the same tracks from the recent Sifok mix, but IMO a better arrangment and flawless mixing.

Runner up: Hernancattaneo- The Renaissance Masters Tour @ Womb, Tokyo

The last hour in particular is really great stuff.

Not a set per se, but: Sasha - Involver

This thing is so friggen good I can't leave it out

Scott Oliver's 4 hour November Proton set by an absolute mile. It's quite simply everything that makes dance music do it for me. This guy should be massive.
