I'm going down to the beach for a couple weeks at the end of the summer, and I want some good music for driving up and down the island (it's about 10-15 miles long and one single boulevard). Anyone wanna recommend me some good sets to blast out the windows? :D

Sets for the car...
Sean Cusick & Chirs Fotier Live at The Palms Hotel WMC 03-08-04
Such a beachy sound
oh...well mate, it depends on wether you want to crash down the island with your car sound or just listen to some good music.. what I would choose is a classic:Paul Oakenfold - 2 Years At Cream
MP3 Car CD player...
anything derrick carter or mark farina... especially mush jazz
Tiefschwarz Ral 9005. :RightOn:
That shit is just perfect for the car. I have that and Involver going round and round and round....
Paul Oakenfold EM World Tour 1999 @ Miami Sasha @ Alexandra Palace NYE Luke Fair 2004 MercuryServer Exclusive Rowan Blades Live @ Tattingers Malta John Digweed KISS FM 01-24-03 Guerilla Records Special
That should get you started...
Note: If anyone wants to flame me for the Oakey set, sod off you twats because 1999 was a good year for Oakey whether you are willing to admit it or not.

Cheers
Something by Danny Howellls never disapoints. I would blast that Tall Paul and Phil K set if you got it. Ifyou like techno T. Raumschmiere Alte Werft Korneuburg 05-17-03 Goldfrapp - Black Cherry, Global Underground 024 Reykjavik,Global Underground 019 Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Although I don't like his live sets because he can't mix and his tracks are way out dated James Lavelle Global Underground 023 Barcelona is good.
I am a big fan of bumping some Tyrant when I am making some long trips. Any Tyrant for that matter. Even some Burridge (his helsinki set or his spundae or BPM set). Drum n' bass is good if you like to speed, but sometimes it can be too much, or you can just throw down Sasha (GU Ibiza). There is so much that you can listen to, it all depends on what you are in the mood for. Even some 50 cent is good sometimes, espescially when lighting a spliff :D
I definitely have to agree with the Sean Cusick recommendation... I was just listening to that earlier today and it sounds summery. I would also say check out Tim Skinner's 05-08-03 Grounded Music show, both parts... druggy summery stuff!

Yeah I'm trying to find "headturning" stuff to blast out my car windows. However, if possible can you guys recommend more sets that don't have crowd cheering? It sounds kinda cheesy with crowd noises when turning the volume on loud, plus I want a "clean" sound :)
meat katie bedrock breaks??
meat katie bedrock breaks??
Is it really that good? Some people were telling me it was an average compilation.

i agree with him, u?ll never regret of listening to a danny howells set.
yeah danny howells sets always come through in a "what should it be" pinch
Another vote for the Meat Katie Bedrock Breaks - Really, really enjoyed it and it has so much more energy than any of the others.

Here?s 3 :
Benny Benassi@RadioFG Paris-Feb06,2004
James Holden Balance CD (although I?ve always had a soft spoT for Silver Planet, it actually feels like your driving through some kind of spacey nightmare or something)
And to scare off some hecklers, Slipknot - Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)...ok, it?s not dance music by any stretch, but it did work a few days ago...I called this asshole a few names, he got out of his car, but I was blasting this through the windows, so he pretended he was actually going somewhere else.
