i have tried firefox and like it but everytime I go to click on the scroll to scroll down the page. It does it in little increments and I hate that. Anyone know how to fix that?

i think you need to go to: TOOLS - OPTIONS - ADVANCED-uncheck smooth scrolling, or auto..just see what happens...

mozilla's browser engine in general has issues and bugs in how it handles geometry in DHTML pages. Does the site that youre having scrolling issues with have lots of DHTML elemets? In other words, is the site full of DHTML/Javascript/visible/invisible DIVs/Layers? If so, then this is a known bug that is being looked at at Moz.

Usually it's on any site. I did check the smooth scrolling when I first got the thing I'll have to go uncheck it and see what happens.

Either that, or your machine is chocking and using up a lot of processor bandwidth, making the scrolling fucked up....

Im guessing here, having worked on mozilla and reported lotsa bugs on it. ;-)

anyone know how to make firefox work better w/flash and java pages? it runs like shit on my mac and freezes up pretty often

Well i'm not using a mac. But your thoughts do seem well within their reach. I am on an older system. 1.3G AMD Athlon. And to be honest I too haven't had much peoblems with IE. Other then it sometimes being slow. But I blame that on my lame ass connection.

I'll have to load firefox up again on my computer cause it seems that I uninstalled it.

U could use Netscape insted :wink:
