Does anyone know how to un-install this. I am currently using america online because service pack2 messed up my internet explorer. Everytime I came to this website the explorer would just shut down. if anyone can help it would be great. I am using aol, but don't want to have to pay for it when I can use exploerer for free.

Window service pack2
Unfortunately Micorsoft sucks and so does IE. You can not really uninstall SP2 that easily.
A better option for you right now is go get Firefox and use that as your default browser. IE sucks. Firefox is the future. Get it here:

Re: Window service pack2
SP2 sucks ! :disgusti: Opera is my choice
SP2 caused me a shitload of trouble when i first installed it, so i did a format, then installed SP1 & 2 first before anything else, disabled all the crap that comes with it (security centre, pop-up blocker etc.) and everything is fine now, a lot of grief i know, but hey
but if you can't be fucked to format...... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875350

yes, firefox all the way. unfortunately, i still have to keep ie because some websites that i use to purchase vinyl still don't work properly in firefox
Slipstream SP2 then do a complete system reinstall. Then everyting should run smooth as a baby's ass.
I prefer IE to firefox, but Opera is my favourite.
I haven't tried firefox out yet, I guess maybe I should.
I have yet to install SP2 though, stupid bubble keeps popping up for me and I want to stab it!
I think you can set auto updates to ignore certain updates if you're really going to not install it
