Last PSV-Arsenal Henry made the fastest goal in the CL ever. I hope for a draw, as PSV is sure of the next round then and I prefer Arsenal over Panathinaikos

actually it was Gilberto.

I'm actually beginning to think we're missing the quiet brazillian. he was much like Deschamps for us, a water carrier, as Cantona described him.

Although I love the incredulous talents of Fabregas, Gilberto's function in the team was wholly different. And though I moaned and cursed at him from the stands for playing backwards, now he's gone I can appreciate what he provided us.

I think tonight is going to be an incredibly tough game. Dennis hasn't travelled and I always think he gives us that extra dimension, especially in the European games. The one player that really shines in our European campaigns is Freddie....and who plays those killer passes onto Freddie's split-second timed runs? The non-flying Dutchman.

Everything's crossed for this one. Prediction PSV 1-2 Arsenal

Arsenal in Europe is a different story than in the UK. PSV can be quite good at home. 3 years ago they beat Man U bij 3-0

#306338Post 16 of 37

the best thing that PSV has is that coach! he?s really amazing! Guus Hiddink makes his teams very strong. remember the last World Championship.

#306353Post 17 of 37

Remember Euro 1996 when he was bondcoach form the NL and they lost 4-1 to England...

However, he did very well at the worldcup 1998, when NL played the semi-final against brazil...(and lost as the referee refused to give van Hooijdonck a penalty in the last minute of regular time)

#306398Post 18 of 37

Getting close now.... Im so tense I cant breathe... We (Arsenal) need to win this one!!!

Lets hope they play like they usually play in the UK... Come on Gunners!

#306567Post 35 of 37

i knew it was going to be tight, but the game was played with such pace! really suiting Arsenal's style...but I hadn't counted on Lauren's wrecklessness and the referee's stupidity. Vieira CLEARLY won the ball. BUT to hold on against a vibrant PSV side with 9 men for 15 minutes is a fantastic achievement...what's the news on Van Persie...his injury look horrible.

I am wishing for a cruise against Rosenberg next week, but alas, I know how Arsenal do things in the Champion's League. I'll be there at Highbury biting my nails.

#306713Post 36 of 37

Ljungberg!

#306751Post 37 of 37

If Arsenal would drop out, forget about them ever winning the CL, this is Dennis last season, and he hasn't won the big cup in his life
