god, you guys can't be serious for one friggin minute on this forum, CAN YOU?? :x

newb asks a legit question and all you guys go off on tangents of stoopidity about HA HA HA this DJ and HA HA HA that DJ... FFS it's like being around a bunch of middle schoolers!

Alt ending #1 anyhow, i've seen a lot of DJs in my day, but one of the top djs of our time has got to be dj irene. i mean, no one, NO ONE, knows how to rock a crowd like he does... err, she does... err, "shim" does... ???

Alr ending #2 amyhow, i've seen a lot of DJs in my day, but i would say Rui di Silva is a great DJ of underrated talent. sure you have all the big names, but Rui's mixes hold tight.

Alt ending #3 anyhow, i've seen a lot of DJs in my day, but i have to agree with jabondan, tiesto takes the cake!

#305659Post 21 of 57

I think Dj Cameltoe is the best dj.

#305660Post 22 of 57

#305664Post 23 of 57

Re: Who is the best dj... technicaly and tracks combined...

Re: Who is the best dj... technicaly and tracks combined...

Luke Fair hands down. he never disappoints live and the recordings I have heard from him are fucking spectacular!

Are all of you guys on drugs...how could there not be a single mention of Richie Hawtin?!! You find me anyone who could do what he does with some of the sickest tracks (some of em made to order on the spot)...

Honorable mentions: Digweed, Garnier

Hernan Cattaneo Rules !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#305902Post 33 of 57

Re: Who is the best dj... technicaly and tracks combined...

djs mostly consists of two things, their skill and the way they control the crowd. digweed is good at the technical shit, and sasha is good at crowd control.

#305904Post 34 of 57

Re: Who is the best dj... technicaly and tracks combined...

while he isnt the best mixer, liquid todd continually pulls out some of the best mash ups and breaks around.

mixing skills live go to diggers. on cd, sasha.

#305916Post 36 of 57

i think digweed is very much in control of the crowd. anyone who has ever watched him work (for a 3 hour show or longerr) knows he can twiddle you around like a stringed up puppet. in essence, he is the Master of Puppets. imo. :NotMe:

#306062Post 37 of 57

sasha & digweed are my favorites, but when it comes to both mixing and rocking a crowd, it would have to be danny tenaglia...

#306064Post 38 of 57

Re: Who is the best dj... technicaly and tracks combined...

I can't pick, so I'll list my top five:

Sasha Digweed Zabiela Masiello Paul van Dyk (say what you want, but the man knows how to rock the place!)
