I dearly hope Liverpool can do it tonight, but I think this is one hurdle too far. I'm not ruling it out, but it is a tough task.
The only upside is if we do get knocked out as expected, we can concentrate solely on the league and make a fight of it.

Torres can unsettle any defender in the world .. just think of how he turned Vidic to a blubbering mess. If Liverpool score 1 .. then Chelsea will start to worry, get a second & their arses may go.
My head and heart say no chance ... but the Team are always full of suprises.
But Chelsea conceded 3 x late goals at the weekend and Cech has turned into a bit of a dodgy keeper - remember his world cup gaff ?

^^^ Not necessarily. We've beaten United and others this season without Gerrard and Torres, and with Fernando in his current form, anything is possible. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet, so I think our only chance is to win 3-1 and take it to extra time - then anything can happen.

Liverpool look like they are falling into the hands of Chelsea just like they did against Milan in 2007. They are running around like headless chickens and will wear themselves out leaving them wide open for a severe dismantling in the second half 2007 styleee. 8)

The quailty of football that Liverpool can play they can do it. Chelsea looks like what liverpool was is the first match, if they keep play like this, Liverpool will go through. The next 45 will be entertaining football
