John Digweed - Istanbul Part 2 Kiss100 (Jan 10, 2003)

I listened to this set again today and it was definitely banging. A lot more uptempo than his usual sets.

I won the ITM VIP comp... I'm hoping I also won one of the four other comps I entered. As I've left out a very important digweed fan and selecting one person to go has made me choose maybe the wrong decision :'(

I feel so bad, but if you or anyone knows anyone who would be willing to sell their +1 for a generous amount of cash I'd like to hear about it so I can give it to my other mate as an xmas present.

I've waited so long for this day. I'm not getting any sleep over the next week!

check out some of his older sets, the simons mix with sasha from 1996 is full on trance/prog stuff.

John Digweed - Live @ Utrecht...SICKEST set I have heard in a LONG TIME...to THIS day it still remains as one of my ALL time favs!.... followed closely by Diggers with Sasha @ the Delta Heavy release party in Miami! SICK!! FLIPPING SICK!....Totally blew Sasha out of the water in that one!

Digweed's Live @ Fabric set is quite indicative of his peak time. So's the later half of his recent JJJ mix.

its not live at fabric, it was a 1 hour promo recorded for the fabric website

We we there at Fabric and he didn't play that set.

Bedrock party 2 weeks ago was one of the best sets I have heard from Digweed in a long time, it was immense, pure banging filth.

personally i love the live @ bedrock mix Diggers put on kiss100 6-02-2001. great peak hour(Vortex shit). Very similar to his essential mix from may 2001, but i like this better. Great set, intense tracks:

Thought the 4th hour from this years WMC was good also the hour from the recent Triple J mix. Some people just can't seem to let go of that early 2000 sound though. Seen him three times this year His tracks have to be played very loud for full effect. Pete Heller Simpler (New Mix) for example. Stephen Bodzin Tron and Kupon Zoom In as well Progressive House

Justin Scott Dixon is the man. His studio work is amazing, and hes all over the place, if you look at credits, youll find him touching up and remastering alot of peoples work. Way bad ass, wish he would play live out and around.
