I ran into Holden's balance 005 from 2003 the other day and it kind of got me wondering how many equally wonderful albums I must have missed because of my age...so I thought maybe some of you guys have some simmilar gems from the past?

BTW it seems to me that Zabiela sounds kinda simmilar like Holden used to sound?

check out the Howells Nocturnal Frequency series.. there are 4 I believe.. and his Nubreed not really less famous so to speak, but when they came out he was really just starting to blow up

I love the first Everybody by Sander Kleinenberg. Just feel good music right before the whole electro house thing blown up... Also Trendroid's Transport (I believe the last in that series). Great chuggin' album

It's off the grid I know but back when DJ Dan was good "Beats 4 Freaks" I think I had the tape actually and his Funk Da System after was pretty good as well. Had Disco Babes from Outer Space on it.:oops:

Agree with my fellow Louisianian, Bender420, John Digweed's Bedrock cd is easily my favorite cd of all time. Great memories and music!!!

Yeah I have all the older deep dish stuff and I remember listening to some album by phil k and thinking its great but not sure if its Balance 004...will have to check. Thanks Guys! you really can be helpful when you are not trying to bite each others heads off over some nonsense...

No Phil is a pretty good DJ i have heard a number of good sets and when I heard him live he was equally good. I will try and find his promo set from a while back which was like pure gold...I listened to it for quite a while.

Yeah I know it does...loads of great albums do...its just that Balance 004 is like almost only breaks...I don't mind if there are a couple of songs but if its excessive I loose interest.
