You're right. I spent the first half in front, and the rest of the night on the balcony and by the back rail. I saw a lot of people I hadn't seen in years. I was texting people all night long. It was nice to hear nothing but quality music... nothing that resembled electro.:D

Man, what a night! He hit the ground running. First track was awesome. He did play:

Underworld - Dark & Long Leftfield - Song For Life (ID Remix or Original??)

and then a bunch of banging shit. Dark, progressive, tech, fabric-ish (??) sounds... i'm still recovering.

That last video about sums up the last two hours, not sure how late he went, but was out near 330ish. After about 145am every track was incredible, the kind of tracks you just shake your head in disbelief how good they are, upfront was very cool. You are a trooper Al, drove back to Vegas around 9a myself. Good night all around.

so what time did he wrap it up? i left around 2:30am. definitely getting old. how i used to do a 10-12 hour set at Avalon i don't know. but missing him at the Mayan is unthinkable. still love the space, still love the choons, still don't understand all the old asians rolling out of their gourds.

pic the best. I love looking at the aftermath of a great show in a club. looks like a sweet place. Now I know why so many dj's like spinning there. But why do they have all those subs RIGHT in front of the booth? That really screws with your ears when you wanna be up in front.

Thanks Si, it's 3:26AM on Saturday and I have to be at work in 2.5 hours, however I finally feel like myself again...:D Diggers was great, the venue only let's him play till 4AM, he only used CDJs from what I could see, I think you asked me that? Anyway, I hope he comes back soon.
