one of the best (or worst) shopping days of the year in the US (supposedly), but it's also the official "kickoff" to the holiday shopping season.

Most store's Black Friday ads usually do not come out until the week of Thanksgiving, usually the day before Thanksgiving (this year, that would be November 24th). However, the joys of the Internet can disallow such through insider info.

All deals posted on BF2004.net are to be regarded as rumors because there is never 100% confirmation until the real ads come out. However, in the past years, these rumors have had a high success rate of being true.

figure out ahead of time where you may want to go. Personally from past years, either:

a) nothing's worth it. b) you can only get to one store, as most crap sells out in a heartbeat. c) in said store if you have multiple items in mind, better order them in importance because you may not get them all. d) The smarter and savvier shopper is the one stores HATE

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to look at the Belkin... but now that I know for sure that Best Buy does carry them at all then I've got nothing to worry about

oh I do believe me...I feel bad for you guys having to put up with everyone's crap that day...

makes me glad I can walk in, get what I want, pay no problem, thank you, walk out....

and laugh at all the morons who don't have half a clue it seems what they are buying, except it's "on sale"

Haha, I used to be an Operations Manager for Best Buy...talk about your long days. I used to work 4am-8pm the day after Thanksgiving and then 12 hours/day 6 days per week and then a 10 hour day on Sunday preparing schedules, etc. every week after until New Year's Day. Holy shit I'm glad I decided to leave to go back to school. When you're first promoted and they tell you you'll be making $xx,xxx/year you think "Wow, where do I sign?" Especially when you don't have a college degree. Then when you end up working 80 hour weeks and you realize you're only making about $14/hour it hits you.
