These days you really can't pidgeonhole DJ's (especially the bigger ones) into one specific genre. Someone like Bill Patrick spins minimal house, minimal techno, even a little electro as well as tech house. So to me, if a DJ incorporates tech house into their sets (more than a few tracks) then they can be considered (at least somewhat) a tech house DJ. The only rule these days is there are no rules...
