I have had a pitbull for the last 6 years, shes the safest, sweetest, most loving dog ive ever encountered.

the police raided my house for my old flatmate and she didnt even bark at them, she just came to my bedside and licked my hand to wake me up :)

People need to realise that statistically, pitbulls are less likely to bite you as a labrador is.

I just get so angry when they get demonised like this - its so easy for the lame ass media. its like every time someone does a crime here in nz, they are on meth, everytime its a dog attack, pit bull is plastered over the front page - till a couple days later, 5 pages in, there is an article saying that its actually a fox terrier or something like that. GRRRRRRRRR
