can anyone who tech savy with the computers reccommend me a good spyware / adware killer? I RUN the AOL detector and i find about 15 programs every time..;..... who knows a good item for this. my comp at home is losing this battle as well

Webroot's Spysweeper is the best out there. If you don't believe me, visit a bunch of porn sites, then run AdAware, Spybot, all that crap, then run Spysweeper...and notice how much the other ones missed. It's all i use, and i've not had any spyware problems with my new computer. Plus, might be a good idea to stop visiting the german pee porn sites you weirdo.

ADAWARE works for me.. and i was getting 80+ pop ups at a time. whats frikkin ridiculous, was 75% of those pop ups was ads for pop up blockers, lol.

Have your tried it the other way around? I do this stuff all day long and I get the best results when I use all three. A good pop up blocker goes a long way towards preventing it in the frist place?

pop up blockers are a pain.. when sites you want to surf that have relevant pop up windows.
