Re: Flashdance Videoclip on MTV ?

no way man, i don't like this! this is f*cked up, they're following the same path as dj tiesticle if they continue making videoclips  let's hope they'll keep it underground.....

I was joking, i agree with you tho but it's just one track.

I remember reading that Digweed put out a track which got in the commercial charts too, it was a one time event afaik

Whats the big deal about making a video clip for a track that has gained commercial success since its release. I'm sure the guys from Deep DIsh didnt think that FLashdance would have that kind of reception when they made it, so now they are just pushing it through

#295951Post 6 of 24

I know there's a video for it, someone posted a link to it a while back ago here on [ms].

Muggeh: Was the track named "Heaven Scent?"

#295956Post 7 of 24

lol looks like we might have a winner there, damn memory :Blazed:

its far from being the first time that Deep Dish are "selling" out ...

They've done like the most commercial remixes in the prog scene and gone done hill after going into that big time.

Deep Dish suck! So hooray for them for leaving us alone and going mainstream. I still hope Sharam is the one responsible for this sell-out. I really like Ali and would hate to want to rape his ass.

woahhhhhh :D

#296201Post 11 of 24

you can't really blame them for their success, can you? so one of their songs caught a lot of people's attention... good for them.

#296225Post 12 of 24

the chick on the video is pretty hot, would totally do the hell out of her and then some :Naughty:

#296226Post 13 of 24

i saw that video and the tiesto with BT - loves comes again too... those are very popular here in mexico...

but i don't like those track too much

peacez

Too bad i haven't seen the videoclip yet, but the song is really cool and I think it was a great move from Deep Dish to make a videoclip also...

#296513Post 15 of 24

deepdish-flashdance is much a comercial track so i guess it should have a video why do you think digweed never played it on his kiss100 show?

#296549Post 16 of 24

There is a full music video for Flash Dance. Its a pretty big track. Been licensed to a couple very commercial compilations.

it's not that i hate them because of their succes, it's the fact that you get a lot of people that will listen to dd now. so they're becoming too commercial, unless they will keep it for this one video. kids that are listening to scooter and dj sammy will now talk about dd

ps i didn't know that john digweed made a videoclip of heaven scent :? i don't expect this from dj's at this level.....

tru dat!... as bad as this sound..we need a few more acts to go mainstream and win over the masses, maybe that way we can get rid of hip hop in clubs :I surren:

hmmm, i disagree. it's no fun anymore if everyone is listening to prog house... i say we stay underground, the first time i saw dd live in the netherlands in a "small" room, i like that  it doesn't have to be the amsterdam arena or the olympics :(

#296624Post 20 of 24

it all comes down to money guys.. that track sucks anyway.. i just hope sander doesn't fall into that trap even though i feel he might be soon..

yeah but the more people that get influenced , the more people that play records , the more up and comers, the more sick tracks... you wouldn't necessarily go see big names anymore but you'll go see the new djs that thanks to this shitty video started spinning house instead of hip hop

that's true, but i still prefer the "big names" in the underground scene. but after a while they will not be "big" anymore and then we have to make room for the new talented hosue dj's. and i really really hope that sander isn't going to make this mistake...
