Doesn't sound like it to me. Progsounds usually knows his stuff. I cannot wait for this one.

I definitely want to hear it if it's true, but there's isn't any credible source aside from another messageboard... and we all know how easily rumors fly between messageboards :)

Very, very true. I guess I'm just holding out hope because Simon qualified it.

Would have much rather someone who was offering a fresher sound at the moment. Haven't liked the direction that Fade has taken this year, expectations aren't too high

Fingers crossed - for me he's one of the most talented DJ/Producers out there and very much under-rated.

The recent Fade compilation was an advert for his label rather than anything else, so its about time that Chris put out another mix CD. He also has a 5-track EP in the pipeline.

Chris is one of my favorite dj's out there, he always delivers the goods. atleast everytime i've seen him. 3 times this year so far. nice to see him get his dues. after buying ever GU and other credible cd from 97-2002 i haven't bought one since. i think this will break my cd-less streak

Isn't Balance an all-Australian series right now? I'm still calling [bs] on this one.

this compilation is going to be fujcn wijkd! chris is definitely playing some cutting edge music right now, as well as doing some edits & remixes that are great (im playing a bunch of them)

the way he does things, this is going to surprise many and please all :wink:

I am in love with that Chiller Twist - 'Presence of You' track he throws down in his recent Opaque Angels radio show mix. I'm not usually one for vocal tracks, but wow. :shock: It's an old track from what I can gather, but I guess it's about to see a proper release?

agree 100%, i hated audio tour

fortier is here on the 26th or something like that, planning on checking him out

I like much of his stuff. I am happy because the Balance series has set the standard. And i know Chris can bring the heat.

I actually have never rated Fortier so I doubt I'll be getting hooked again With the exception of a handful of tracks towards the end of CD2 I thought his Bedrock was pretty boring. Steve Porter would have been a much better choice, I wish the early rumour was true.

I think its a shame that after such a groundbreaking release with Holden, they have taken two steps back with Pappa & Fortier who are playing a pretty dated sound.

The Balance series is put out by Stomp/EQ in Australia, not the Balance Promote group in the US Considering Progsounds was the one who released this info on the GU forum and there are others I know who were sitting on this info for a while, you can safely assume that its correct.
