Well since you put it like that I'm gonna pack a kilo of coke and a hundred pills in my pants. That sounds like a hell of a time. 8)

How long is this offer open for? I sometimes(once every 6 months or so) pop up to SG for work....

Crazy Great off!

Skahound; it's death if you get caught with anything at all, literally...

Until about a year ago it was illegal to spit chewing gum on the ground. Could be jailed for it.

Wow, you guys sure make a strong case for the country. I mean I guess I understand why people are now practically begging on message boards for people they don't even know to come play! If they would take me just to the point where I was about to die and then let me live, that would be cool. But actually killing me? I have to draw the line somewhere.

#291936Post 14 of 33

Maybe you will be released as one of the lucky ones and just get off being castrated....

Singapore is actually a really nice country. Due to it's laws it's really clean. It's peaceful, has a booming economy, and one of the best nightclubs in the world; Zouk.

Welcome to Singapore. Be careful or you'll end up dead. Enjoy your stay.

#291943Post 17 of 33

Come to think of it, that could be used by NYC's chamber of commerce too.

#291944Post 18 of 33

Being honest tho, all 1st/2nd world countries have very harsh fines/jail terms for the importation of drugs. Most don't kill you for it tho.

Hi there,

Thanks for your messages! I don't know if I may have led people to misunderstand but my little lounge is not going to fly anybody over to spin. My apologies.

We are, however, very happy to let you spin for a nominal fee and some alcohol.

So I guess its something you want to do only if you are stopping by.

Msg me if you do decide to stop by some time.

Singapore is a great place to visit...the food is amazing and the cleaniness is unbelievable! Trees all over the place it's like a garden city. I would strongly recommend it as a hub to explore the rest of the region, esp Indochina...

For those who go...def check out Zouk...world class club by any standards!

It's nice to see Hideout promoting itself here...I played there last year and had a wicked time...small intimate place but the people def know how to party!

#292222Post 24 of 33

Hey Naveen...

nonsense....pure nonsense.

stuff.....music......blah blah blah.....

tech-house, blips, bleeps, some house music, some techno. and then there's pat's mix.

Love, skahound

Re: Want to DJ in Singapore? Read here :)

Where is your lounge (link broken) I will send friends there?

I brought a case of gum when I visited my girlfriend there I was kinda nervous...

There is about one death penalty a week for drug trafficing. But my GF said that coming across the border from Malaysia they do not check anything.

Singapore was a great place to visit. There are about one or two days worth of relaxed sightseeing things to do...Sunday champagne brunch, skyscrapers to visit, walks on the quays, I went wakeboarding...

People there go party every night...Wed is ladies night and every bar is rammed...Friday and Saturday forget it you can't move in the bars and clubs.

Places I checked out were Zouk and the adjoining bar/lounge, New Asia Bar on the 72nd floor of the Swissotel, Soundbar? on riverside quay, some other bars in the hilly older restaurant area...

A lot of hot, friendly local girls and expats who just wanna party.

Spin for a nominal fee??? I don't think so. Dj's don't pay to play. They GET PAID to play.

#292616Post 27 of 33

^^^^^ I think thats what he means... they will pay a small amount and give you some alcohol.

Re: Want to DJ in Singapore? Read here :)

I live here in Singapore and would be really grateful to DJ anywhere and for any price. Just got my own DDJ-T1 controller, can mix up Club, and house music all night. Want to get more experience at actual clubs. Done Diwali and Birthday events.

I'd do it for really low price. As I said, I'm looking more for experience.

Plus I'm like more available then most of the people here on this thread.
