Ive seen none of the bands on that list, except part of Led Zep when they helped Foo Fighters do the encore at Wembley earlier this year.
So i voted others > Foo Fighters, best "band" ive ever seen live.
If i had seen Queen, i would have voted for them.

I've seen U2 a number of times, and they are one of those bands that have been doing it so long, they really know how to put on a good show. Of the arena-sized shows, that would probably get my vote.
Some of the more memorable shows were smaller bands at smaller venues, though. Some notables:
GWAR The Cramps The Samples Big Head Todd (opening band flaked, so they came out and played an acoustic set to open for themselves -- was very, very cool) Dead Milkmen

Pink Floyd without a doubt.. even recreations of DSOTM are impressive but will never be matched.

You sure that was them. They did hire people to be in their costumes during certain shows...if not all of them. One of the perks to being behind a costume for their shows.

Metallica before Cliff died, Ozzy on Diary of a Madman tour, but the godfather of soul and Parliment/Funkadelic get honorable mention.

Specifically, that Pulse Double Disc, which I believe is their Live show from Earl's Court in 1993. That is a MASTER PIECE of live eye-candy

^^^ the pulse video is from Earls Court, not 100% sure about the double cd though... But that cd is gold! and seeing the DSOTM performed live is hands down my top live performance

they ended up in the guiness book of world records immediately after that show for having implemented the most lasers ever to be used in a public performance. 9 tons of it if I remember it correctly.

Altought the PULSE show is cool, i'd prefer seeing them in the ~73 era, the tracklists of that time were amazing... Echoes + DSOTM + some WYWH tracks = :D

DSOTM and WYWH (that song at least) are on the Pulse cd/video
but yeah, i wish i had been able to see them earlier, or some of the Wall performances

oddly imma chime in with the chemical brothers show from woodstock. that night, a combo of booze, substance and lack of sleep, with music and a wicked fucking lightshow put me in a trip that i will never experience again.
