I know I paid $3.99 at least once, but I'm honestly not sure if I paid more than that or not. There was a time for a little while that I didn't even really pay attention because it would just piss me off, and gas is one of those things that you gotta buy whether you like it or not, so not a lot of point in dwelling on it.

I find that the gas is cheaper if you go to the mom & pop type gas stations and avoid going to the mobiles,shells,exxons,etc.although hess is the exception.they seem to always be cheaper than the previous mentioned.

the hess on mass ave is always cheap. I never ever go to mobil/shell etc. I have a gas station thats full serve at the end of the road that is always fairly cheap but they just started charging .07 extra for credit/debit so lame.

Yeah they do that cause they have the credit/debit fees they gotta pay.If you notice all the cheap ones are cash only

I go to the same gas station every two weeks and I pay with credit and its pretty cheap...usually only off by a few cents. Plus its full serve ;)

Oil is now down to $55 a barrel. Crazy the price swings over the last month or so. Remember when it was $140/barrel? Like 2 months ago? Oil is lower now than it's been in like 3 years, I think.

$1.97 is the lowest I've seen around me.

Stop & Shop does discounts in the NE area...$.10 off for every $100 spent in store...yea means nothing, but it's easy when you do your shopping anyway...points are good for 30 days. Plus the $.05 using the card.

Got a fill up the other day for like $1.94 or something....

^ I always forget about that. I spend $100 a week in groceries...I could easily get that .10 off. My issue is that when I do my shopping I never need gas and I forget to go back there when I do need it.
