Comes out Nov 1st Free upgrade for people who already own TS & T3 :)

Has a new look and introduces several new and redesigned features. It basically combines some of Traktor 3's capabilities (i.e. 4 decks, FX) and Traktor Scratch's time code feature. This is a much needed upgrade imo, now people won't have to buy Traktor Scratch and then spend an extra hundred bucks to upgrade to T3...instead it's just all one package!

• Tons of new FX (20 total)
• Up to 6 simultaneous FX available for each channel (HUGE upgrade from only one before)
• New looping capabilities
• New beatgridding and cue point editing functions

Really getting excited after seeing some of these videos. It will be quite a significant upgrade once they get a stable version out!

This is a great thing!! Even though I use Serato, this means that Rane must have some similar updates in the works in order to compete with Traktor...Hopefully they update Serato sooner than later...

The new screens look great and searching by album art will be awesome... but will Traktor Pro still have vinyl control or have they just upgraded Scratch Pro to have the same features? I'm also assuming the update should be available via the Service Centre...right?

Traktor Pro is the same program as Traktor Scratch Pro.

However, Traktor Scratch Pro comes with the audio dj 8 and the time-code vinyl/cds

Wow...the Serato - Ableton partnership is BIG...sadly it's another nail in the coffin as far as beatmatching being relevant.

FYI

Native Instruments has sent out a coupon code via e-mail for users of T3 AND TS that allows them go download the upgrade for free, so check your e-mail if you have both of the programs! The e-mail just went out so servers are really busy and SLOW!

i just got serato, and i'm pretty happy they're parterning. having said that, fuck if i'm ever not gonna beat match. screw that...

i love having to feel like i'm always being forced to be on my toes when it comes to playing out. When I'm at home...I always use Ableton for my mixes, I love the things I can do with it. I can do the things that I COULD do if every set up in a club I played in had three CD players.

I have to say...having used the traktor pro (with audio 8 )...native instruments have most definitely won me over again. As far as I am concerned they have corrected all the flaws Traktor 3.3 had...the only thing that I can say is that it kind of required a new laptop, but I was due for an upgrade anyway.
