Re: Study Abroad

I would say London without a doubt, but its probably more expensive than Milan. The nightlife is second to none you can go clubbing from Friday night right through to Monday morning without stopping.A huge choice of sport, theatres, museums, food ,everyone speaks English, I think so no language problem. The people may not be as friendly as the Italians. I have visited Milan and I thought it was a very nice city.London is dirtier, darker and more miserable, but that what I like.

Re: Study Abroad

Definitely London... Italy's a fantastic country and Milan is a cool city (nowhere near as cool as Rome though) but London is where it's at. Only New York and Tokyo compete on a global scene ? it's got the sights, the clubs, the music, the food, the culture, the vibe. Everyone's in a bit of a rush but it's the same in Milan, Italy's business capital. And you can fly anywhere in Euroipe from London for about $30. :Bingo:

And there's some new law next year which means bars can stay open 24-7. Just look carefully at where you choose to live.

Re: Study Abroad

Hmm... you post on this site and wonder where to go? London naturally... it is the place to be if u're into what this site is into :P Italians may party wild but they don't have the culture. They couldn't tell the difference between Diggers and Oakie. Give them funk and let them be.

Re: Study Abroad

What are you going to study? Can you even study what you want in both cities? Did you check the reputation of the universities for what you plan to study? Can you speak Italian really good? Do you prefer sunshine from Rain? Both cities are overcrowded and pretty expensive so did you compare the living costs?

i've heard Milan is a great place to study abroad. I had a couple friends that did that trip through texas aTm and they came back wanting to live in Italy. You sit around, study, eat well and drink wine all day. that would be good enough for me. i'm sure there are other things to do though :)
