I think in these times it's perfectly acceptable for pop stars to lipsync especially on "live" television appearances. The 13 year old fans don't give a shit about whether or not it's really live, they probably prefer it to sound just like on the radio. If said popstar can't really sing outside of a studio, the label and managment would insist on them lipsyncing to further the lie that they really are worth spending your money on a cd. I think most popstars lipsync these days. I don't think their fans really care. However, I do think it's fucking hilarious that she got caught in it. Of course now she'll probably do a commercial for dentyne or some shit where she pokes fun at herself.

I don't see what the big deal is. Many pop stars lip synch, so they can give a better performance on live tv. Unfortunately, someone on SNL made a mistake. And of course, it wasn't the band's fault, but that was probably the best excuse they could come up with quickly.

As for her acid reflux, that's bad stuff and I've had it since June. I really feel for anyone that has this. It's true that you can't talk and go through periods of choking which causes panic attacks. My Dr told me that sometimes people with acid reflux pass out from the panic attacks. For months now, when I'm around people, I tell them that I can only speak a little bit because it hurts my throat and vocal chords. Finally, I'm starting to heal, but still feel the effects.

So, don't be so harsh. She maybe can sing, but has serious throat issues like I do or others.
