In the end you can but you cannot get verified and most of the shops require that you are, so its pointless anyway.

Apparently they don't actually verify addresses for anyone not in the USA, which means you have zilch of their much touted "protection" Their fees are astronomical. Their advertising is incredibly misleading!! Here in Australian they refuse to sign up to our Electronic Funds Transfer code of conduct. !! I hate that they are actually making inroads into the worldwide pay systems. I believe it puts a lot of people in a a very insecure position! We have just been through the incredible situation here where Ebay [who own paypal] tried to make it the only payment option . They didn't get away with it , but all ebay listings have to have paypal as an option and people are led to that option to the detriment of others.

There are whole sites dedicated to people who have had incredible problems with Paypal! Every time I see that button I tend to think, do I really want to contribute more to this company. !

But Yeah , Maybe MS needs other payment options if it is difficult for people to donate. Choice is always a good thing and let's face it, it's a good idea to make it as easy as possible to part with money :lol:

Paypal is forbidden from Lebanon coz its Israeli... however donations made using money transfer agencies, like "Western Union" for example, should go through it just fine...
