Re: fox news major ownage

well i do understand why people wouldn't talk to them. fox news will mock, condescend, and trivialize anything it's right wing overseers want. it wouldn't matter what the protesters said, coherent or not. verily, fuck fox news.

but these guys...cmon. protesting the democrats?

"we're not gonna PROtest! we're NOT...GONNA...PROtest"

Re: fox news major ownage

the weird thign is that FOX itself is as liberal as they come with its programming. they were the ones who put simpsons on 20 years ago, family guy, etc. amazing how one branch acts in a liberal manner, while the other is a neo con newsroom.

and yes, democrats get protested. they are at fault too.

you make a really good point here. this is a redefining of "conservative" and "liberal". I once viewed conservatives as family-oriented types who stuck to simple values, hard work, and American superiority, and liberals as people maybe a bit more progressive, with things like drugs and peace, and global equality. It seems to me that, while liberals have not gotten any more "tree-huggerish" (I think they peaked in the 90s), the conservatives are out of control with their ideaology. Here is a list of things that I now identify with conservatives, though I at one time considered myself about 50/50 lib/con:

wasteful, corportate hegemony over unique business, racist, fat, angry, fanatic, insecure, blindly religious, insincerely patriotic, appealing to the lowest common denominator, xenophobic, america-centric, stubbornly ignorant, Wal Mart, greed, sensationalist, fear-mongering, boy's club, glorifying stupidity, consumerist, short-sighted

right now the bad things I see in liberals seem to be not nearly as bad:

fiscally irresponsible, pretentious, too much equality, weak, too ready to do away with good traditions...I'm having trouble coming up with more, tbh
