Nothing beats this variant of Unix:

:Naughty:
wow.......cool a new forum. If i post there, does it count to the downloadbanning??
That cool but why does linux look so much like a windows platform. Mac's platform looks the same way. Even though they bash windows all the time. Think about!
MacOS came about before Windows...

Hmm, "A new version of Linux" would imply a new kernel.
I think you mean a new "distro"

and UNIX before macOS!! so indeed mac is completely unoriginal and a total unix ripoff :ROFLMAO: jk
at least windows is its own shit :Naughty:
speaking of linux though, im just getting into redhat v9, and im very interested in copmletely switching over.
ive really been trying to research audio appz that can be used on linux. i've found a few but they seem to still pale in comparison to cubase etc.
of course u can run vmware guest xp OS but it shaves off about 200mhz i heard. (maybe more for audio appz??? i dunno?)
anybody out there have experience with linux audio? i've run across planet cccrma (sp), and the linux audio LADSPA stuff. just wondering if its worth it. it seems like a cool thing to do just to get away from the norm and possibly make some more interesting shit. :Naughty:
