It kind of stinks since metrodance shut down for that was the only show that played Martins music.....granted we might only get one new mix a month from him but he was so unique in his style and played music that it seemed like no one else had , i guess what i mean he truly defines the signature sound...too bad we havent heard it in months

the other day, I popped in a cd that I thought just had a bunch of netlabels on it.. but it was frisky artist of the week, martin garcia.

It's a real shame ... but despite being an amazing DJ and a real producing talent, is it me, or does MG never get his arse into gear. His website is seldom upto date and he never promotes himself or seems to seek opportunities to boost his profile.

MG's site is down ... his my space site mentions that he played in Cyprus ffs... he needs to sack his Manager.

Space is built for Garcia and he would be ideal for Pacha yet he never hits the white isle.

It is a shame, he plays an awful lot in South America during their summer which is roughly Dec-Feb, agree with sacking his agent/mgr this guy should be touring globally not sure why is keeps such a low profile.

i miss Hernans shows :( the extrema outdoor thing is sounding good but only half an hour phooooey!!!! not enough of a fix but it'll have to do!!!!!! gonna have to hold out till 21st sept @ space ibiza then on my return to english soils the following saturday may have to head upto Newcastle to catch him @ Shindig that night!!!! :shock:

He is not even playing that much here in Buenos Aires, nor Argentina as a whole....

He is spinning on the 23rd of August in Pacha BA but the last gig he had was around April.... and im not joking.... MG is only doing Pacha (no other clubs) and if thats not enough, one dat every 3-4 months...

dont know why thow.... :S

have you listened to any of his tracks or remixes?

the remix he's done with hernan of bedrock - santiago is incredible the remix of oliverio - listen to the other voice is good as well my favorite, nacca - toriko (martin garcia remix)

he has put his signature sound all over those tracks

strange i don't see many other tracks he played on live sets, but remain unreleased :(

btw I just download garcia from apr 18, 2008 and it seems he knew it was his last mix on the show..... this 2 parter (of which I'm only through part 1) is SOLID. GREAT flow to this mix.

I've been giving his Sunny beach monster set a hiding since this thread started and taking all things into consideration it's the best set I have ever downloaded. The quality is the deciding factor.

I wholly disagree with you man. There's no intricacy in his tracks, I hear no signature, and the pads are soft, mellow, and drawn out. It's the perfect anecdote for sleeping. Who needs ambien when you have productions from MG! I j/k.
