the good thing about cds is that you have tons of music. often my buddy would bring a bag of records assuming he was going to play a certain type of set, to show up and have the vibe be totally different.... i have a pile of music where i can handle any circumstance. so that works out well when the vibe is unpredictable....

i was comparing it to real vinyl not serato.

serato will have the same quality as cds

hah, for the first time a couple of weeks ago, all i brought to an outdoor rooftop jam i spun at was a usb key and then used the serato settup there. it thought that was weird. 3 worth of music and all i had to carry was the key. but i still prefer Cdjs, for precision mixing with all the fx that the full pioneer system can offer.
