this certain idiot i have been speaking about recently, whom was placed right next to me, is flipping out.
he has spent the whole day talking racism, muslims in particular, went out for a butt, our branch exec changed his desktop to barney, which i rapidly changed to a picture of mecca during the pilgrimage, and now....boom
wow. when branch exec comes back, it should be good.

im in a very weird area, one town is mega bucks, the next is the remnants of the KKK. no one here outside of someone who came from old branch with me seems to be bothered. they are all staring at him like joel osteen's fans during sunday mass.

maybe, but the employer can justly defend their stance if their termination clause says they have a right to fire anyone that speaks in a derogatory manner. its just like harassment. of course, there is always a lot of gray in these types of cases.
i remember a couple years ago my company fired about 20 people for looking at & distributing an email while working "top 10 reasons black people don't do NASCAR"... surprisingly, they had the right to fire them and did it without thinking twice. no lawsuits.

he isnt insulting any specific person, he is just really offensive. out here in eastern suffolk it is all low income white and illegal spanish. so they dont even get fazed.
really he is just stating his opinion (over and over and over in an offensive manner)
i.e. if i worked for MTV next to poto, and i voiced an opinion along the lines of "i am not for gay rights" without directly targeting mike, and being a bit more offensive.
