i haven't checked may hotmail in weeks, and today i've got 250mb!? when did this happen? i never bother going to it anymore cos its always full of spam. so what will this do? hope it doesn't mean we'll have 200+ mb of spam...unless they update the spam filters then all it is is extra spae for spam. :NotMe:

I have 3 hotmail accounts, my oldest one got upgraded to 250 meg about a month ago or so. the other two, not yet. And they are still trying to sell the upgrade feature on the accounts with only 2 megs. thats most likely the reason, trying to get as much $$$$ as they can out of people, before upgrading everyone.

whenever they are ready.. as i said i have 3 accounts, and it just appeared one day i got the upgrade.. but i use gmail now anyway.. so fuck hotmail and there teeny tiny 250 megs, lol

yeah my shite account on msn is still at 2mb

assholes send me about 3 emails a week telling me I'm using too much space because I get about 30 spam emails a day

Yeah, mine's still at 2MB. It's all good because I use Gmail most of the time now anyway but it would still be nice to get the damn 250MB. Most of the eMail services are trying to keep up with Gmail now by adding more storage space and implementing their own search functions. It's only a matter of time before I give up on Hotmail.

Still the damn 2MB's for me for both my accounts.... cheap lying bastards.

i really dont care much about hotmail ..i use it to get club info mostly or if i buy something online , that way if i get spam it doesnt go on my regular email account...

The two oldest ones are at 250, and have been for a few months... my primary one is still stuck at 2MB though.

rms have you been living in a cave for the past couple months. Gmail is the new email system that is being offered by Google. You need an invite to get one of these accounts. And with the satellite connection speeds in Africa Gmail is lighter and way faster. Everytime I checked my mail on hotmail in Ghana I could sign in, have a beer & sandwich, then return to the computer and then click the next link and follow the same routine all over. :shock:
