Yeah, yeah, someone was gonna start it, might as well be me. Seriously, I really want to know what volume you like best. I listened to all four of them recently and although it's hard to pick one over the other, I'd have to put them in this order: 1, 3, 4, and 2

vote for your favorite in the poll and then post your ranking order

Weeeee!

Re: Transitions vol 1 - 4

Hmmm.

I chose 4. They are all pretty solid albums but 4 is freshest in my mind and is the standout for me.

Re: Transitions vol 1 - 4

1+2 tied 4 (only played it once though so can't fully comment) 3 - total rubbish.

Re: Transitions vol 1 - 4

4 is the BEST, sounds like a good night out, one of Digweeds best mixes 3 was the best till 4 came out. Best thing he did since MMII 2 is mellow at first and builds nicely, plus i saw Diggers in NOLA on tour for this one. Really reminds me of GU19 LA, in fact i listen to them back to back often. 1 is good, but my least favorite. I still like it, just like the others better.

Digweed managed to do what any artist would want.... Do better with each new album released.

Re: Transitions vol 1 - 4

4 fo sho

Not listened to the others enough to make a proper decision as not amazed by any of the other 3.

Re: Transitions vol 1 - 4

I'm with Tiddles!

1 4 3 2

I think it's hard to surpass Vol. 1.

Vol. 4 is a close runner-up.

On the other hand Vol. 2 never did it for me.

I'd have to go with this ordering too, actually!

1 had some amazing tracks which varied in style (Compare the first two tracks to the Popnoname track which followed it, for example) and was still crafted together so sweetly. The album seemed a perfect representation of how Diggers was back then, having heard his brilliant set from Pawnshop 2006 - perfect music. It will never be surpassed imo - feel free to prove me wrong though Digweed!

The remaining three had some reasonable tracks, but no stand-out moments for me. 2 always had a hard act to follow, and boy did it show! The remix of Dirk Technic's "I love you", for instance, didn't really do anything for me. 3 and 4 were better, with the fourth proving a real treat, but both still live in the shadow of the first release I'm afraid, which is no great shame.

Can't wait for his next compilation anyways! :)

Re: Transitions vol 1 - 4

3 is it for me. I keep going back to it whilst the other ones languish on my hard disc.
