i'm on 128kbit so downloading from f'in file-share host is pain in the ass. torrents makes file available any time and 100% correct delivery, i tried to download latest hernan's Metrodance from the link on this site and no luck then googled for the same files on torrent and i'm already downloading and no need to post bullshit, sorry :D

Bittorrent is great, and we have quite active downloaders for the [ms] downloads, so there should be enough seeders. Not sure why we don't use torrents either. Some people find it too complicated or too much of a hassle to set up.

it is a blessing that mercuryupload has so much bandwith so i dont really needs torrents, plus with megadownload, rapidshare and mediafire having decent download speeds over all i dont use torrents. mainly because i dont like uploading much since it takes forever and slows my connection down overall, plus since alot of isp's are looking for / throtting bittorrent traffic right now (even if they deny it), i like staying away from them overall.

Torrents are decent for popular files...But if you are looking for a certain file that not many people have, chances are that you are gonna have a hard time getting it via torrent....There is nothing worse than watching a torrent fail constantly because no one is seeding it..

bittorrents are really great when they arent being used for sharing illegal stuff, ie all the 700mb world of warcraft mega patch updates are torrents and save blizzard huge amounts of server and bandwith costs. also every linux distro owes that bram cohen dood for the protocol to allow for people to get new linux iso dvd's alot easier than taxing all of their servers to death.. :D
