What are your local favorites?

The recommendations thread got me thinking about who my local favorites are on this board. I tend to steer away from big names because I like to support the local artists here and give feedback whenever possible (this helps them to maybe grow in one way or another). But I also thought that maybe we could have a list of artists who post here as well as share their own mixes. Because I know I have missed a few a time or two! That way if someone (like me) wants to check out these artists and maybe are a little hesitant they could maybe read a bio or something. Not just post a link to a mix with a tracklisting and see if anyone takes a chance on the mix. So let's get some forum feedback on who you like and recommend!

My favorites are as follows (not in any order) Caley Martin BureOne (long overdue for a new mix cough) LJ Munz (the whole organic series) Ribbario Homegrove blair_s (this guy just showed up on my radar) jdoty aTak OlliS coded

I'm sure I missed a few so don't take offense. Anyone else?

miroslav has done quite a few.

i'd suggest checking his: "Hey... Are You Ok" mix ;) that one is good bizzniss fo sho!

and ribby's next mix will surprise you from what you've previously heard. ;) :Bingo:

jibby - when he's not playing ghey trance. while our music tastes aren't alike, i still dig jibby's chugging beats.

hate to say it, but i don't listen to anyone else on here. i look at tracklists a lot and most of it just isn't my thing.

you should check out DJ Themba he does a weekly sunday party at Saki and does a regular friday in adams morgan he is also playing at a place called Bebar on may 17th opening for Tleilaxu & Skooxbot

he playes minimal & tech house

either way you should also check out the Pluse party at Bebar they have it 1 friday nigth per month and play minimal good venue and good people there

ive been to bebar once, i enjoyd. ive heard that ski has nice mini/tech but never checked. ive also kicked it with george k and more seraj and navbox. all of them good djs. bu i gota check the rest more often. leme know if ur going to any

oh, havent heard that many sets from the members. other one of miro and one of ribs set. both really good. im sure all the rest including ur self are top notch. gotta take a listen.

I was searching for some old tracklistings of shit on this infinite universe I like to call mercury server and found this thread, Thanks Funky!

A mix is soon on its way, just been very very busy lately, I live with a female now (wife) so Ive a been concentrating on limiting belching, farting, smoking, toiletry domestication, cleaning, etc...

As for me, some more aTaK, fm, light of day, cant get enough of Ribs either... there was one person who put up a pretty good house mix a while ago.. thrax? dont remember, and a 5 hour Sightless marathon mix!.. but yeah.. more local support on here is needed!
