So what do u guy's wear?? What are the good ones out there. I have nearly finished my bottle of CK obsession and am now in the market for a couple bottles. So what do u guy's use and recommend??

Re: Men's Cologne

I am using Bvgalri Homme, Armani White, and Hermes Terre. Moved on from the light citrusy scents of CK a while back ;)

Depends on what you prefer, light or heavy scents, day or night, etc.

By the way Obsession is not really citrusy.. So what u use feather what are they like?? are they strong? and how long do they last for?

Re: Men's Cologne

Bvgalri Homme is musky and subtle, lasts pretty long. Armani White is sweet, lasts pretty long too. Hermes Terre is spicy and earthy, doesn't last long at all

And this thread is bordering ghey :lol:

Issey Miyake everyone talks about it. i have had CK, Hugo, Tommy and a few others but never Issey Miyake. I must try it out.

Re: Men's Cologne

Issey is very strong and lasts forever. A bit too in-your-face though, at least for the first half day wearing it.

Re: Men's Cologne

I wear a careful blend of Tide, Gillette 3x, and original Dial. Drives the bitches crazy.

Thats what ii wanted to hear.. the lasting bit & strong. Lets face it whenever we put something on it is better to be strong then weak. i mean u want people to notice. I am prob gonna get slammed for saying that

Re: Men's Cologne

Creed: Millesime Imperial. Always brings the pussy 'round. Duoro by Pennhaligon's is good for the summer as well.

It says you're looking to pick up a few bottles. My experience has shown that it's best not to buy something as soon as you try it. What may smell good for a few minutes may burn down into something that's in discord with the oils on your skin. I would recommend trying one or two everytime you're out, and get a feel for it. Too many people just buy that stuff right off the counter without thinking, and too many saleperson's make a hard push. If it helps, writing to these companies has always resulted in free samples, which, mostly follows true for other products as well.

My recommendation is to get something that nobody else wears, which generally means stay away from anything you can buy at a department store. Nothing like smelling Aqua Di Gio, Curve, Dolce, or Coolwater on every other person you walk by.

I would recommend checking out http://www.basenotes.net for some extra info.

Re: Men's Cologne

I rarely use cologne, I guess only if it's the "going out" kinda night. I also can't tell the difference between all that perfume/cologne kinda stuff, it all smells like cheap sex to me

not that there's anything wrong with that. :Who:

Re: Men's Cologne

I rock the Very Sexy for Men from Victorias Secret. Only when I go out though. I don't really see a point in wearing cologne when I work with dudes and the girls at my work I'd need a keg and a couple painkillers to get with.

Re: Men's Cologne

Mont Blanc Individual and Mont Blanc Starwalker. Individual is alot better than Starwalker imo. Have a bottle of Issey, but for whatever reason, dont spray it that much. Looking at checking out the newest Dsquared cologne Wood, smelt good in an add, but have yet to make the purchase.

Hell yeah. I wore an extra splash or two during school dances so the ladies could smell me as we stood in groups across the gym from each other.

Aw ye-ah.

Very Sexy 1 for me as well. Girlfriend diggs it. Hugo Romance on special occasions.

Re: Men's Cologne

Actually, in seriousness, I don't wear cologne very often, but when I do, I like Kenneth Cole Black. Not too fruity or sweet smelling, not too strong, pretty subtle.

How long is a regular-sized bottle of cologne supposed to last? I'm going on about 2.5 years with this one, and I feel like I've still got plenty.

#1011355Post 40 of 131

Re: Men's Cologne

good old english leather aftershave. Other times it would be Onyx which is a distinct, sharp musky scent much like english leather. I wear Burberry or Polo when going out someplace nice.
