Sorry, Digger's isn't nothing, but the reason I was considering going was to see them together...I've seen them enough separately that having only Digger's show up would have been a huge disappointment for me personally

i was actually HAPPY to hear sasha wasn't playing. couldn't wait to catch a set just from john that would be at least something comprable to what he played at vagabond. well it was pretty damned good, but it didn't feel like a complete set. and what the hell was with the no encore and no real "final" track?? he played this tune with a build up to nowhere and then just walked off the stage. they turn the lights on and you could hear the entire club go..."HUH!?!".
wish the crowd had been more into the show, and i wish had ended when it was supposed to, my only two complaints really. the excuse that was being floated for the premature ending was that they had to end at 5am to catch a bus to Chicago. honestly, not good enough! at least give us an encore track!
a couple of positives...there was actually enough room to dance, and the sound was great.
will post vids and pics after i fly home tonight.

If I had known it would end at 5, I probably would have stayed. I guess I'll have to accept the wuss label temporarily. :roll:
On the drive home I was pondering a city/province that forces nicotine smokers outside, while covert pot smokers are fine indoors....

Sorry the Toronto show was a disappointment........it kinda has me down for the Chicago show tonight. Maybe they were just saving their full energy for tonight :)

^ It was last night and the show was in the Koolhaus. The rest of the complex didn't appear to be open.

Well all in all, I had a pretty good night. Was a little disappointed that Sasha was a no show, but I'll take Digweed over Sasha any day. "No offense to Sasha, he's still great it was nice to meet you Steve and Chantal and it was nice to see the bringthebeats crew too. I found that Diggers played pretty hard but I liked it. Hopefully Sasha will make a return to Toronto soon and tear it up since he did not show. Well thats all for me, oh and thank you so much for the CDs Steve and hope to see ya in Toronto again soon.

Don't you think that the maven would be his carry on item for the plane maybe even by a ticket to sit it next to Sarsha complete joke by all standards tour fatigue, TO deserved a better show Hopefully, things go better for the Chi towners tonight.

I believe they are traveling by bus, no planes involved and I also heard rumour that some crazed fan stole his luggage. Who knows what really happened. I look forward to the next time he's in town.
