Is anyone going to see Digweed and Sasha next Wednesday in Columbus?
They are performing at Club Karma. Never been there. Does anyone have an opinion of the place?
Their current tour is receiving lavish praise from everyone I've talked to.

got my ticket, I'm going! I'd assume anonin is as well, unless he has a sucky class schedule.. I haven't been to that karma place, so I don't really know what to expect in that regard... looking forward to it! resonator check your pm 8)

i will be there too!! i think i saw lawler there like 5 years ago when it was Red Zone the club was a bit run down back then (if it's the same place) hopefully they fixed it up better now

I hear WMC was good...but I'm sure Diggers has been saving up an extra special 'vortex', which he will exclusively let loose on the wild weekday crowds of Columbus, OH (prior to close at 2:30 am) :lol:8)

yeah i'll be there. probably be wearing my M-audio shirt. it's a baby blue color just to let you guys know.
and BTW. if you wanna get there for kazell. I recommend getting there around 8:30-9PM just in case they do like they did for that one show we have spoken about on here.

i just wanted to let everyone know they ARE in Columbus Ohio right now. I was just at the same club as them. people kept bugging them while they were eating...which to me is a terrible thing to do to a person. So naturally I didn't get to talk to them...maybe tomorrow.
Tomorrow's show is looking to be the most talked about show for the next year or two for columbus.
And the show is slated to begin @ 9PM as the ticket says.
Oh and BTW. I have an extra ticket.......anyone?

do you know if the willcall line will be very long? our tix our at willcall and i want to get there to catch all of kazells set, i wont be getting into town until about 6 then having a few drinks and heading over.
let me know if you think the willcall will be long and i will try and swing by earlier, i dont want to be standing in line all nite.

The last time i went to a show with a willcall line was PVD back in 2002. I stood in that damn line for probably 45 minutes before I finally got in. I will never do that again.

Might not be a bad idea to get there eariler for will call in New York it was a total pain in the ass and I had to just fight my way to the front of the chaos, be determined and offer bribes if necessary ;) You should be fine and for the fashionistas running shoes and comfortable clothes. Have fun you lucky bastaads.

just for info, will call line was kinda short here in philly. but i was inside by about 9-ish. anytime after that I can't attest to. i think most of the people got there about 10/10:30

oh man i miss the redzone. clockwork sundays were the best. especially memorial day weekend 2000. just got out of high school, and they were opening up a new club, and it was like 2 venues. the dnb room with the cage was retarded. i couldnt leave
the club has always been a favorite of mine. it was a little beat up yeah, but i loved it

hulkhuss called a left me a message about the show....he seemed to think sasha was tearing it up more then digs, said both were good but he was feeling sahsah alot more.

all in all, a really good night! All three guys were solid - and I say this as someone fairly critical of prog and generally more into minimal stuff, as many of you know. Honestly, Sasha was better than I thought he would be. Say what you want about him being washed up, boring, etc...but he came on at midnight, took over a pretty good groove from Kazell and then calmly proceeded to kick everyone's ASS with some seriously booming techy madness. Diggers didn't disappoint me, either...was really happy with the way both of them played. Ended at about 3 am a sweaty, adrenaline-rushing mess...place was packed. Easily the best show we'll have here in Columbus for the next few years. And I got a fricken t shirt!!!

^^^^it was bro. to me...that was a spiritual experience. They knew they didn't have all the time they would have had in NYC, so they came out with guns blasting. I will never forget that night. Diggers was hammering us with some dark ass stuff that just made you say....OMG!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was awesome with the last track. Everyone thought it was over. I kept telling my bros...listen, it's not over yet, then Sasha broke it down into some ambient techy piece that was perfect for the end of night song.
I was amazed to hear Sasha and Digweed playing that many varied stuff there. To hear Sasha playing some electro stuff was wild and then Digweed would come back with some of that nasty techno. Oh it was perfect.
And on a side note....KAZELL....AWESOME warm up DJ. That set was simply wonderful. Had me dancin until the man like... came up and tore us all up.
Thanks guys for us meeting up there. Randy you gotta get with that girl and get us that photo of us. LOL.
