any1 know why i cant rename .exe files no more??? or move them ?? is it got anythn 2 do wif xp sp2?

are your .exe file extensions showing, or does the filename not have a .exe at the end?

yeh thhey have extensions showin eg. ms sets wen i go to rename it. it sez its bein used by some other program..which cant be the case :Scared:

reboot your computer. if that doesn't work, it could be a Windows Explorer extension trying to open the file for information when you click it to try renaming it... you can test that by trying to rename it through a command prompt.

You need Gipo moveonboot utility. Do a search on google for it.
