shitty, yet somehow comforting. glad the thing didn't get fucked. I remember like 8 years ago I spilled a cappuccino on my desktop keyboard and lost it forever thereafter. you lucked out.

Re: my iBook = tough little bastard

lol After spilling coffee over my keyboard it was still working. Untill I dropped it accidently on the floor while cleaning it. Spacebar out and broken; that's one of the most used keys, so no go anymore and it was time to buy a new one :(

Re: my iBook = tough little bastard

I just started a new job and I wanted to buy an ibook to use at work. But I'm pretty sure their network/software doesn't support Apple/osx. That's too bad.

ah keyboards are cheap.... a pretty decent one probably only costs $15...

use em, bash em and chuck em away when done..... :)

make sure to air the ibook out

#275376Post 10 of 18

yeah it actually stopped working for a little while...it would turn on andgo BEEP BEEP BEEP or it just wouldn't turn on at all

i popped the keyboard and left it in front of a fan all night. seems to be working fine now

who cares about keyboards going on you....an ibook is much more expensive than a keyboard.

peace, steve

Re: my iBook = tough little bastard

yeah, but the components are directly under the keyboard...

close call...you could of been out of an iBook and Apple would of charged you your right leg to repair.

i've got a powerbook and i'm really happy with it...although there's no version of slsk for it....

Coke Cola is the worse.
Lose about a keyboard a month due to wear and idiots spilling coke all over them. Still all tax deducatble.
