There is a TV program called Bosch which I highly recommend .Michael Connolly collaborated on it. I'm not a big TV fan but this is really good. Actually watching on computer I don't have a TV anymore.

Re: What book are you reading now?

Ive been hesitant to watch it because I dont want to spoil the books. Are the plot lines on the show original ??

#1764626Post 468 of 495

Re: What book are you reading now?

I don't think the similarity would be a problem, they aren't for me. I am watching the second season now which sounds like it is similar to Trunk Music which was released in 1997, but everything is changed to the way it would be now, rather than 20years ago.

Just found his site and he has a message board so you can ask  MichaelConnelly.com Message Board

One of the ways they are updated is they swear more, more authentic he says.

Re: What book are you reading now?

I´ve been reading a lot, lately. I post some of them:

Walter Isaacson - Leonardo Da Vinci

Stanislaw Lem - Solaris really loved this one, is an excellent piece of art. Far far better than any of the movies made.

Arthur Machen - The Great God Pan (and other stories) if you like H.P. Lovecraft, you´ll love this

Paul Stanley - A life exposed: Kiss´ frontman biography.

Re: What book are you reading now?

I was missing this biography:

it's a good read, and if you love The Doors and Jim's art, you'll enjoy it very much.

I'm on 'Little Man, What Now?' by Hans Fallada. This is my 2nd Fallada book and he is a very good writer; interesting life story also.

Re: What book are you reading now?

I was a big fan of his books when I was younger. I haven´t read any of his books in the last 10 years I guess (besides the ending of The Dark Tower), so I thought it would be nice to give a try to some of his latest work: The Institute. I´m really enjoying it, it´s an interesting story, and the dynamic is excellent:
