stephane k john creamer ????
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
:What:
I haven't heard anything by them in a while, either. I really like their Aural Pleasures CD or whatever it's called. The Bedrock that they did was good for a while, but I got tired of "yo que no sa mosa" or whatever real quick

 thats so true... the first thing i thought about when i read this topic was that tune... great call...

If you want to purchase some vinyl check out this site:

that bedrock cd is the biggest pile of steaming turn i've heard. mixing is abotu as inspiring as your average computer mixed ministry of sound cd.
been using the same beats and basslines in their tracks for the past 3 years
why bother IMO
I saw these guys at Mezzanine in SF a year or so ago, and it was the worst, Jerry, the worst!
Sitting in front of their laptops, playing boring, uninspired music.
A friend of mine was closing for them, so I was forced to stay. It was crowded when I got there at 1, but by 3:30, the only people left were the ten of us there for our friend.
And they STILL stayed on until 4. Then the promoter let my friend play one track, and that's it.
Really sucked, and I was expecting a lot after knowing a lot of their great tracks.
yeah, I saw Creamer in Kansas City (without Stephane) and it sucked balls. It was before I knew who he was, and I wasn't really into his music back then, but nobody in the crowd was either. You pretty much summed it up... boring music. It's great music to chill in the car to, but I don't know how good they can be live.
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
They were in NYC last Saturday at a spot called Cellar Bar. Didn't hear any reviews though...
horrible djs, were half decent producers.
but now if you've heard one record from them, you've heard them all. imo of course.
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
They have an new label out called NY Love with, I believe to releases as of now, both with re-mixes by them.
-
Susana: Storm is Rising which is a pretty good track
-
Last Night I was Dreaming (don't know the artist) decent, but questionable
Gangester - Last Night I Was Dreaming

- Susana: Storm is Rising which is a pretty good track [/quote] Is this track on Cusick's/Fortier's WMC Palms set? I really dig the track if so, but I think it gets interrupted/butchered by the radio announcer halfway through it.
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
not sure....
got a really steady baseline, not too much going on and a nice female vocal that goes like dis.....
"a storm is rising slowly, i can feel it when you hold me, a storm is rising slowly, when i'm alone, when i'm alone with you........"
That's the one. :Bingo:
John Creamer & Stephane K - Forget the world
that's an awesome track, hernan played it before Sasha on the first Moonpark on Buenos Aires and it blew my mind.
Actually he played it on his radio show a couple hours before the event too,
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
does anyone know of a website for john creamer or an email adress he can be reached at?
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
Saw them 2 weeks ago. They're definitely stronger as producers than djs. Creamer did the majority of the night with a rather housey, even tribal sound - I was rather surprised! Stephane K stayed in the same vein but sounded plodding and at that point a lot of people (including myself) left, so I can't comment on his style much.
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
They made such great songs. But it was then.

was this at boa?
great producers IMO Forget the World, Waiting (Nat Monday), Numb>> one of the best opening tracks to a set
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
numb is absolutely awesome...
saw stephane k play off his laptop running ableton live last week sometime. it was really good. solid chunky house and techy stuff. missed creamer though.
their new vocal tracks are quite good.
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
Storm is a great track...and i'm also a fan of "Last Night I Was Dreaming." I've never seen them live but i definitely always look forward to their productions and remixes.
Yeah it must be great for them to watch 75% of the crowd walk out on them as they play their snoozer tracks. Numb's good.. sure... but you can't bring home the bacon with one good track and poo DJ skills. Local no-name residents keep the crowd alive and moving better than these guys most of the time.. I wonder if they notice that and how it makes them feel... Hopefully bad enough that they might actually work on their technique
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
yea, what's new with these guys???!?!!!!!
Re: stephane k john creamer ????
Are they always together? I think John Creamer is a goodDJ by himself.
