i think i would get absolutely shit all done if i went to uni in a place like that...
yeap, my mom went back to school there this fall for her master's...guess who wrote most of her papers from two oceans away? me!
I don't know anything about its academics though, unless you want to study Asian dance...
Re: Hawaii
Do it man even if only for the view out the class windows!
Re: Hawaii
i know alot of people from hawaii from being in college (Univ of Oregon).
They all say that Univ of Hawaii is good for the marine biology but other than that, its a pretty crappy college.
If any Hawaiian's have money, they almost ALWAYS ship their kid off to the west coast mainland to get a better education.
IMO... if your looking for a good degree other than marine biology or something to do with the ocean.. go somewhere else.
Re: Hawaii
heard there was some european school that has a new class designed to education on the proper methods of growing ganja, the history of the plant, and how new methods of cultivation are making it more potent. (with hands on experiments)
i would recommend checking into that.
Re: Hawaii
My friend finished engineering school at Hawaii and loved it. Personally I think he would have been better off completing his degree at the U of MN since it's a better program, but he was also able to parlay that into a full-time job out there now. Hawaii is cool but honestly Honolulu doesn't even compare to the rest in my opinion.
Re: Hawaii
well here's the thing. i need to get my BA. and then probably my master's. so i figure i could get my BA in hawaii and my master's somewhere mainland. but outside of that all i want to do is surf and smoke lettuce.
Re: Hawaii

Re: Hawaii
